I lived with a whole bunch of my siblings— I had like 13 or something—but we were all orphans. Our parents had died in a fire and this family had adopted us all. I’d changed my name to Pandora after the fire. One of my older siblings (almost all of them were older than me as I was only about 8 or so) went to open my closet but another stopped them. “You can’t open that! It’s Pandora’s!” My oldest brother is there too. “Pandora?” He asks, leaning down. “Is that your name now?” I nod. I don’t know why, but it just is my name now. I can feel it. “That must be because you’re very special,” he says gently. “Mom and dad would’ve liked that” My oldest brother and my oldest sister round us all up and we head to Walmart. (Y’all I’m so done, this is my literal 10th dream involving a Walmart I think I need help) I met a young boy there. He was probably 4 or 5, and he was crying because he couldn’t find his parents. I asked him if he knew how to fly. He said “no only super heros can do that” I asked him if he wanted me to teach him how. He didn’t believe me so I flew around the aisle a little bit. His eyes lit up and begged me to teach him. I told him to climb on my back and then we soared around the store giggling and laughing. We did this for a while until my oldest brother came to tell me it was time to go. I said bye to my new friend and he seemed sad to see me go. I hung out with one of my brothers about my age on the way home. We’d always been close since we weren’t even quite a year apart. The house we all lived in was very large but very easy to get lost in. We heard arguing from somewhere in the house. My oldest brother and sister told the rest of us to go to our rooms and stay put. Me and my brother hid in a bathroom because we were scared. We stayed for some time, just crouched in the dark huddled together listening to the muffled arguing that we couldn’t make out. We heard our oldest siblings voices mixed in. After awhile everyone calmed. We heard people asking where we were. Me and my brother went to open the door but it was locked. We couldn’t get the lights to work. My oldest brother called my name through the door. “Pandora? Pandora!” “We can’t unlock the door!” I answered. That’s when we realized there was a fire burning into the bathroom. It ate away the outside wall and we could see sky and the ground two stories below. My brother next to me started crying and I wanted to join. My siblings pounded on the door but they couldn’t get through. My oldest brother frantically tried to calm me through the door but I already knew what I had to do. I wrapped by arms around my brother and then leapt out the side of the house, praying I could fly with the weight of both of us. The smoke had left my lungs weak and we plunged towards the ground. A blur came at us through the air. And then I felt the arms of my oldest brother wrapping around us as we fell the rest of the way to the smoldering ground.
AI generated interpretation Interpretation: This dream could be a metaphor for the struggles you have been facing in your life. You are represented by the character of Pandora, whose name has been changed (or perhaps forgotten) due to the trauma of the fire, which could symbolize the trauma you have experienced in your life. The large house the family lives in could represent the difficulties in navigating the world and finding your place in it. The young boy in the dream could symbolize a part of yourself that is still a child, searching for guidance and comfort in a confusing world. Your willingness to teach him how to fly could represent your desire to help others who are in a similar situation as yourself. The fire in the bathroom could symbolize the danger and fear you feel in your life, and your brother's support and guidance as you leap from the house could represent the comfort you feel in having the support of your family. The arms of your oldest brother catching you as you fall could symbolize the safety and security of his presence in your life.
