I Became a Vampire

Date: 4/15/2021

We were having a party at my house and my mom's side of the family was there. We were all in the livingroom when out of nowhere this senior Bernese Mountain Dog came down the stairs. His name was Waffle and I immediately got up to pet him. He rolled on his back and I rubbed his belly while everyone watched. My sweet, sweet grandmother kept commenting on how good I was with dogs and mentioning how happy I looked. Eventually Waffle left, and I went upstairs because I wasn't feeling too well. I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror and saw that, when I blinked, my eyes changed completely to a solid red color. I knew then that I had been turned into a vampire. I was very happy, and I blinked my eyes back to normal before I went downstairs. Everyone was in the kitchen now, so I had a seat at the table inbetween my younger cousin Rachel, and a friend of hers, and my older cousin Penelope sat acrossed the table. We were all talking about Netflix shows, and Bridgerton came up. "I've seen that!" I said. "More like RiverRail," said Rachel. I laughed way too hard and I didn't even know if I understood the joke or not. No one else was laughing so it was awkward. Suddenly my older brother Lucas came through the door, and he was drenched. He said a monster in the pond tried to drown him. I then turned into a bat and flew outside, turning back into my human self and standing at the edge of the water. I then saw a light green squid slowly ascend from the murky water, and it jumped up onto land. It took the form of a slimy, tentacle-faced, old man. Apparently I knew him, and he was a nobel of the pond people who lived in my yard. He asked me for my hand in marriage and I declined with disgust. I pushed him back into the water and he seemed sad (now I feel bad for doing that, he probably wasn't a bad guy). Then another squidly man jumped out from the water. He was the squid prince of the pond, and he was really handsome. He asked to marry me as well and I said yes. He gave me this ring with a black band and an emerald stone on it. I gave him a hug and then I went to my uncles house. My uncle's front yard was being turned into a mini golf course by the Try Guys, and it was under severe construction. The Try Guys wanted my advice on how it was looking so farm. In my bat form I flew over it and noted the raging riving made from tarps that flowed throught the whole thing. I eventually flew to the road and nearly got his by a car.
