Pool Thought Provoking

I was on board a cruise ship with my friends and family. At one point we were going to a swimming pool. In real life my step-sister is about to give birth to her second child (I’m a step uncle) and in this dream her kids were a bit older, about 7, and this was supposed to be their first time ever going swimming on a cruise or something. We were in a pool with many other people and I was swimming with my family and friends. At one point this man started saying Koans / enlightenment words / words of wisdom for some reason. At first I thought it was pretty weird; why is he saying this while people are at a swimming pool? I just kept swimming in circles around the pool while the man kept talking. But then. He said something I’m still thinking about. “People in your life are like a rainbow…” and the next sentence I find extremely difficult to put into words. It had something to with the fact that only you can see a rainbow from your own perspective at all times (the rainbow moves with you) yet still the rainbow is always the same and each color is different? I can’t really put into words what the next sentence was but this perspective idea and the idea that at the same time YOU are part of someone else’s rainbow that moves with their perspective. At this I decided to stay swimming a while longer and continued to listen to what the man was saying until I woke up. “People in your life are like a rainbow.”
