In love but leaving

I dreamed that I was working at an amusement park during the fall festival. I met a guy who was physically handicapped one day. He came by several times a week, and we became friends. I started hanging out with him outside of my work, and after a month or so we started dating. I fell in love with him and we were together nearly every day during the fall and winter festivals. come spring, one day I found out that the police were looking for me because of something I did several years ago and was running from (my dream didn't tell me what this thing was). I had to leave very quickly and didn't want to leave him because I loved him and knew he'd think I was leaving because of his handicap, but I couldn't go to his house because the police were watching his house to try to find me. I told a mutual friend to give him a message that I loved him and would come back when I could, then gave the friend my necklace to give to him. I left in the middle of the night, worried sick about leaving him and hoping he'd wait for me to return but secretly knowing that the friend wouldn't tell him why I left and I'd never see him again.
