I watched the It sequel. I don't remember what happened in most of the movie, but right at the end there was a big twist that Georgie was still alive. Maybe it was a parallel universe or something. He was sitting in an empty bus and Pennywise popped up in the seat in front of him. It was Tim Curry Pennywise. He went all toothy and came at Georgie and then hard cut to black. I screamed at that part. Then we all started talking because we thought the movie was over, but there was a post credits scene! It was like Georgie had switched places with Will from Stranger Things. He had a single mom who loved him and a big brother. Georgie was in his room getting ready for bed. You could see how traumatized he was. He checked every corner of his room before getting into bed. Then he just sat upright and couldn't go to sleep. Then Pennywise showed up again! He asked Georgie for a hug. Georgie screamed and his mom came running. When she got there Pennywise was gone. She sat down on the bed and Georgie told her about what happened. He thought it was the house's fault. This room had clown stink all over it and he could never go to sleep in here again. Mom was like "I hear you. We'll figure something out." Then we thought the movie was over again because previews started playing. I thought that was a really weird place to end. There was a preview for 1978, which was a prequel not to 1984, but to Brave New World. The preview consisted of these two guys building a city on a large raft. One guy was like "We can get this done in a day." The other guy was like "lol what?" So he showed him a demo of this self replicating building material they were working with. He set an egg down in the soil. A chick and two more eggs popped out. The same thing happened to those eggs for 3 more levels. Apparently they had similar technology for building materials. Idk why the demo was with chicks. But the movie wasn't over! Georgie went to swim practice. He did not want to get in the water. Idk what that had to do with Pennywise. I guess he was just developing new fears just in case. Mom went to the new swim coach for advice. The coach's advice was to get the kid a life size clown plushie. Love the plushie, hug the plushie, sleep with the plushie, boom, fear of clowns gone. So mom got him one. With a big belly that he could curl up on. Georgie and mom and the brother all slept in his room that night. Georgie laid on top of the clown like Totoro and started to get comfy. They turned the lights out. Then the clown started looking like Pennywise so Georgie punched him in the face and set the house on fire. He and his family got out safely. Mom and I went marching back to the dumb swim coach (I'm in the movie now apparently) to tell him off. She told him the advice he gave was terrible and Georgie punched the plushie in the face and burned the house down. He was all "k what do you expect me to do about it??" Then I started shouting "Attention! Attention everyone! This man gives terrible advice and no one should take his swim classes or listen to him ever!" He said he would help if I shut up. We were all wearing yellow swim coats over our suits in that scene. It felt like a reference to the paper boat scene. Then the movie really was over because I woke up.
