Nicolas Cage on Shrooms

First part of my dream was like a movie, starring Nic Cage as a detective. He finds a bag of psychedelic shrooms at a crime scene. I don't remember how but he ends up eating some and his personality/character splits into 2, one "good cop" persona and one absolute psycho AKA classic crazy Cage. I don't remember what happened after that! Next I recall being in a restaurant or club and I had a Ziploc bag of shrooms as well. There was a little kid there and he kept trying to eat a small one, and I was trying to stop him. In the process I dropped the whole bag on the floor. I knew people saw me drop the bag so I wrapped it up in a black bag and ran outside. There were a bunch of police officers already chasing me so I tossed the whole bag straight into the river.
