Space Brainwash

I was piloting a space ship with only a couple crew members on it. We were coming from Mars, where apparently they only spoke Spanish. We got slightly misdirected though and another person boarded us. He seemed friendly, but then started to put my somehow-increasing crew to work doing random jobs he assigned them. It was like he had a hypnosis power or something. He seemed so astonished that I, their captain (I called myself Alderrock to him), would be so opposed to putting them to work.
