Had a dream that there was this huge modern house I was very drawn to but it looked like no one lived in until an older woman came out and invited me in. She took me to a wing of the house out of sight from the front that she actually lived in and explained to me that I was a biological robot returning home and gave me some memories back about my early development and “siblings” (robots before me that didn’t pass the real-ness test and have since been decommissioned from their physical form and now exist on computers). I was freaked at first but I took it really well when my memories returned. I got to talk to my “brother” via the computer and that made me happy. The woman was the wife and collaborator to her husband who died while I was gone doing my final test, which I passed: Years living as a young adult with fake memories and foraged ID’s yet no one questioned my humanity. I woke up before it was decided what the rest of my life would be, but I wasn’t under threat of being decommissioned and the woman didn’t seem to have had any children, so I felt like her kid that she might pass everything on to.
