Galactic round table

I was at a round table meeting with I would guess 5 other humans (at least I think they were humans) and one reptilian alien. We all greeted each other and I remember being curious about the reptilian, stuff like will he be friendly to me or rude, is he nice and warm to others or cold and distant? So when I greeted him I was surprised when he responded by shaking his head at me in a "yes" gesture, a nice enough gesture for a reptilian I thought. I've met many humans who were worse.
