I was on a holiday with my dad, my uncle and a few people. We arrived at an old run down house, a great start. I rushed in and found a grand piano in a dusty entrance hall. I sat down immediately while my dad was back and forth with luggage. I started playing around with it, doing little melodies, I can't play too well but I'm good at improv. Then a guy who resembled fat Tony the mafia boss sat next to me and started playing beautifully, I tried playing with him, a few bum notes here and there but not too bad. Then on this grand piano, this gorgeous, ancient work of art, there was a setting that I must have pressed that made the keys play hip-hop grunts and dj sounds like on those tacky keyboards. I was in my element, years of training on the tacky keyboards in music class has brought me here. I started laying down the beat with the keys, and found a girl singing soundbyte. It sounded cool and I started playing around with other keys building it up. I stopped and glanced at fat Tony, a respectable mob boss listening to this must be torture, I've destroyed all the elegance this instrument had. I started playing the same beat starting off the same but ready to play a different way. Then fat Tony slammed his arms across the keys on his side, a symphony of hollering and old school hip hop sounds came rushing through the piano. He then threw his fists at different chunks of the piano in time with my beat, smiling like a child. It actually sounded pretty good. This went on for a minute or so when he delicately put his hands in the air and made an imaginary line to signal stop. I made the last sound that echoed through the big room into total stunned silence. We looked at each other both proud and amazed. My dad poked his head around the door to say "That was awesome"
