Chicken dream (so weird)

So I had this dream where I was driving around in my moms Jeep and it was a disaster because I’m just a messy person. So I cleaned it out, and drove to my friends. She was like a family member in my dream tho and they were building 4 pools , one was done , one was basically done and the other two were still being built. My friend was laying out in the one that was almost done lol. So I laid out with her in the almost built pool and we were just hanging and talking to the dudes that were building it. She decided she wanted a chicken so we went and bought this itty bitty baby chicken and brought it back to the house. This chicken just wanted nothing to do with us so my friend put it up in this little baby pool thing. She had to leave for something so I just continued to chill at the pool. I remembered the chicken was still up in the house so I went and got it and just kept petting it and brought it down outside to let it roam and swim in the pool and it just did not like me. Also the chicken talked and was legit telling me how pissed it was that we took it from its home and family (so sad) so I felt so bad but didn’t know what to do. I took it back up to the house and my friends mom (in the body of my mom tho.. weird) was folding clothes and I was like “Kayla bought a chicken” and put it down and as it walked over to my friends mom she smacked it! It weeped then played dead for a second (it was horrifying). Then it got up and she hit it again and I said “WHAT THE HECK” and her mom said “Kayla brings home animals all the time like we have to do this some times, the animal would end up dead anyways”. I just walked away and then the chicken got away some how and turned into a kitten ... lol... and came to me and thought I was the one trying to kill it. I told it “that was not me, go peak around the corner and you will see it was my friends mom..” it went and peaked and came back to Me. It looked so sad and hurt and I asked if it was ok because I figured it would have to have some kind of internal bleeding but it nodded its head yes that it was ok. I hugged the kitten and asked if it wanted to come home with me and it hopped up on me and we left. Her mom asked if I needed a ride back to my car but obviously didn’t wanna do that so I left then my friend came home and I woke up. WEIRD
