Chimeras

I have gone to a facility probably in China where there are chimeras - half man half animals (probably apes) kept there. These creatures could talk and I was in conversation with one of them. This guy looked almost like a chimp but with less hair. He was narrating how badly they were treated, living in cages like lab animals and specially now with Covid, the Chinese thought they were responsible and many of them were culled. He was spared because some research later said it's not the chimeras that are responsible and better sense prevailed. He was constantly shaking his head and I was in disbelief too, how can these people be treated like this. I was feeling terribly sorry for him but I couldn't do anything
