run

i spent the night at my friend bella’s house. the next morning i decided to walk home. when i made it down her street to the gate i saw this man going for a run. i didn’t think anything of it. i realized my house is actually kind of far to be running to especially in the heat. i turned around to go back to her house and notice the man running faster towards me. i look at him and he’s wearing plaid shorts, vans, and a collard shirt. didn’t look like he was just out for a run. i start running faster and made it to the outside of my friends house. the man yells something at me and i yell something back(don’t remember)and then slam the door. i tell her grandpa someone was chasing me. he gets up and was ready to open the door when bullets start flying through the closed door. then i woke up.
