Poor Lost Doggo

(Not in Dream) I did not enter sleep paralysis, but I did remember my dream! I had forgotten to write my dream down earlier, so here I am at 10:40-ish PM, writing down my dream from this morning. Unfortunately though, I did not lucid dream. Just a note; I was thinking about Makayla before I fell asleep. (In Dream) I was in some sort of child playground thing. Like, the tunnels and slides at a Chuck E. Cheese’s place. I guess I finished playing and crawled out of it onto a white large triangular platform suspended hundreds of feet above ground. There were white posts lining the platform with thin wire attached to the posts, acting as a barrier to keep people from falling off the platform. There were white metal benches along the sides of the platform. At the tip of the triangular platform is a huge bridge with a glass ground and white pillars parallel to the ground holding up the glass that people walked on. The bridge was lined with a glass barrier (again with white poles and posts holding the glass in place). On the right side of the right angled triangular platform was my dad, sister, step-mom, and a dog. All three of my family members were sitting on the bench, chatting. The dog looked just like our dog (IRL), except he was a bit different. He was a Russian Wolfhound with the same height as our dog. His face looked almost exactly like Kazi (IRL dog’s name), even having the “eyebrows” look. His splotches of black fur were a bit different from Kazi and his collar was a darker shade of blue with a different pattern (less white on it). I was excited to see Kazi, just like he always is to see me. I called his name and got no response. He didn’t even look at me or move a muscle. Kazi always, no matter what, at least moves or looks at me when I call his name. This was very odd. My step-mom and dad has told me that we couldn’t bring a dog back with us from our apparent vacation. Somehow, we still had another dog with us. I suggested we drive our dog back instead of fly, but they said they didn’t want to take the extra time. My sister pointed to a “fashionable” lady in a dress and a bob-style haircut and fedora-like hat walking away from us, going across the bridge. Next to her, was a Russian Wolfhound on a tight leash. I immediately knew it was Kazi. I followed the lady across the long Skybridge (I’m calling it that) to a building. She walked inside it so I followed. It seemed to be a very high-class bar area where rich people chilled out. I could tell just when I stepped into the lobby. The bar area was very long. Quite a ways down the hall was a door, probably leading into other bar areas. There was a man on the left side of the building wearing a black fedora (idk what’s with these hats), a grey suit, and had a white/grey combed shirt beard. He stood there making bar drinks. I walked back out of the building and crossed the Skybridge a little less than halfway. I found the lady who seemed to suddenly appear on a triangular platform attached to the outside of the Skybridge. She was sitting on a strange bench-like chair with Kazi sitting uncomfortably close to the edge of the new small platform. There was no barrier if Kazi or the lady decided to take a swan dive into ground hundreds of feet below. I told her that I wanted my dog back. She basically said no and that she had “other plans” for him. She said no one wanted him (which obviously POed me) The glass barrier on the Skybridge met two white posts that acted as a doorway, but still had the thin wire across it. I decided to keep walking and take Kazi back later. I walked back over to the white triangular platform and argued with my step-mom and dad about them giving up Kazi. Apparently, I had argued with them for hours on end until it was mostly dark out. They still had the “fake” Kazi and I decided to go find the real one. I walked back across the Skybridge. It was two to three times wider than it had been during the day. Hobo-like people sat against the glass barriers in small groups by man-made fires. They held their hands out to the fire to try and keep warm in the cold night air. At the end of the Skybridge was a huge house instead of the previous high-class bar. I ventured down two flights of stairs into a huge room. The room had one wall with three huge windows overlooking a beautiful beach with the moon shining on the ocean. Two or three boys sat lounging around in the room. We all ignored each other. I opened the glass door and practically ran as fast as I could out of there. I suddenly found myself at the mouth of a ginormous cave. I pulled out my phone and used the flashlight on the front to be able to see where I was going. I went inside and not too long after stepping inside, I see Kazi in a thin block of ice, barely covering him, trapped in the middle of the cave. He was sitting oddly (he never does this because his limbs are bony and it hurts to sit like this), front paws extended outward, elbows tucked neatly at his sides, legs hugging the sides of his body, his knees pointing upward, his head facing straight with his eyes closed, and his tail curling up slightly. I cried out to him (I’m sure anyone would if their pet was trapped in a block of ice) and ran to him. Somehow, I was able to get the ice to melt very quickly. I got him free and called out his name a couple times and hugged him. (He normally does this;) He pointed his nose down at the ground and put his forehead to my chest as I rubbed his head and ears. I got him warm somehow and sat in the dark cave basically cuddling him. I cuddled him for my family who basically left him behind for another “fake” Kazi. (Not in Dream) Then I kinda woke up. This was actually a dream I had in the morning after waking up the first time. My dad has told me to start getting ready to go somewhere so I opened my door and cuddled Kazi and pet him for a couple minutes before telling my sister to get up. Oh, I forgot to mention that I kinda woke up crying a little bit. I mean, not full on crying, just my eyes were a bit watery. At least it’s only a dream. I know my step-mom, dad, and even sister, who doesn’t like Kazi as much as the rest of us, would NEVER do anything like that to Kazi. One other thing, this took about 50 minutes to write 😂.

AI generated interpretation This dream could be interpreted as a reflection of your feelings of anxiety and fear of abandonment related to your family. The Russian Wolfhound in the dream could be a symbol of Kazi, representing how you feel loved and valued in your family. The "fake" Kazi symbolizes how you may be feeling as if you are being replaced by someone else in your family. The lady walking away with him could represent a feeling of being left behind or neglected. The high-class bar and long hallway symbolize the feeling of being overwhelmed and uncertain of what lies ahead. The huge house and cave illustrate a feeling of being stuck in a difficult situation. Ultimately, the dream is expressing your fear of abandonment from your family and your need to be appreciated and valued by them.
