Had a bit of a creepy dream - like mixing a bit of Harry Potter and the goblet of fire (specifically the underwater scene and trying to help him from afar) and dealing with ghosts and stuff. Someone else was trying to get stuff to help and it was a really scary situation so I went to help. At some point the girl I was helping got what she needed from the haunted room thing and the ghost tried to follow her outside. Idk how but she trapped the ghost in a book and then a box. Then, there was a time jump and we’re leaving to go on a train somewhere and someone is bullying the girl and opening the packages, and as they’re doing that the ghost starts to leak out of the box all mad and angry and so for some reason when I started calling the girl Persephone, the ghost stopped and simmers back into the box. The person opening the boxes gets spooked and runs away. We turn and go into this other creepy ass china shop and I’m looking around and my mom and sister are there now too. And as I’m looking around, I look towards the top of the wall and see these candles lit and this weird pattern on the corner of this painting and it was the same pattern at the creepy haunted house in the room the lady was in. I mention it to my sister and all of the lights in the creepy shop go out, except for one of the candles beside me. I pick it up and try to light the others, but it won’t light and stay on. I decide to turn and leave and somehow there’s another scheme change and I’m in my house. I’m walking down the steps and it’s super dark but Imm using a flashlight or something to show me what’s in front of me. I get to the bathroom and as I look over towards the toilet, I see a mouse and I pick it up by the tail and realize it’s a huge white, red eyed rat. I take it and immediately drown it in the toilet. It fights and I push harder on the seat lid to drown it. And then I look to my left and see a pinching tool and so I grab the rat with that and pull it out of the water, as I do that the rat transforms into a person and my heart breaks realizing I just killed someone. It’s a boy with darker skin, curly short hair that was dyed blue at the ends and he’s wearing soaked clothes. He couldn’t have been older than 16. I take him out and promise him imo give him a proper burial. I turn around and there’s another rat in the toilet which I pick out. This one doesn’t change into anything but I promise to give them a funeral all the same. There was also a point in the dream where the kids went to dinner, and Nav and Dajinder wouldn’t let us pay to get in. We go through the front steps and it looks like a Chapters/Indigo store layout, but then there’s this huge shelf against this half wall full of books, when you round the corner, it’s a stairway that’s got very low railing so that if you get too close to the edge, you’ll fall really far down. I feel uneasy but I wait and have conversations with my cousins and my sister and brother. I look over to the top and there’s a red rope closed room which inside is super dark and dreary vibes but it looks very opulent. Then I woke up.
