My sister's friend Lourdes was over. I love Lourdes! She walked out of a room dressed in a Rainbow Brite costume just as a special Halloween version of some show had started that had been created by the creator of the old '80s character Rainbow Brite. Her name (the creator's) was Starling Brite (lol). I grabbed Lourdes and excitedly told her abt the show. She already knew abt it but not abt the Halloween special. There was one character, a thin pale girl (abt 19) with long black hair; she wore a long black skirt and a black shirt with black and blue striped long sleeves. She reminded me of cupcakes for some reason. Now that I think of it, she was almost exactly like a "Monster High" doll! FrankenLaura I think her name is!! YES! That's exactly what she looked like!! This goth-beauty narrated the show, and when you first saw her you didn't even realize it was her bc she had gotten so sick, she was now bed ridden (being pushed in an over-sized gothic baby carriage) and a lot of her hair had turned white. She was also a lot thinner than she already had been, and she had a blanket that she covered herself up to her chin with, almost never taking it off. She was narrating, but she was only one of many to be ill. These ill-people were all rich (as well as all demented, but hey, it was a creepy Halloween special) and they had sent one charming man out with his sick and dying wife to trick someone to "volunteer their time" at the hospital they were at. Truth was, once that person got there, all these ill patients were going to eat the volunteer. She wasn't volunteering just some of her time, but rather the rest of her time on Earth! The man and his wife were at a house successfully convincing a middle aged woman to donate her time. The woman's older mother was also there. The man charmed them by dancing. They all three began dancing, with the women getting all hot and bothered over the man. The mother said to his wife "This must be very hard for you".. she meant watching other women fawn over her husband and having to just sit and watch, and the wife replied "yes, but I'm so sick now that I need him to do this" but she meant that being sick was hard but she needed him to do this so she wd have fresh blood to drink and human flesh to eat which wd make her better and heal her. At this point of the show, Lourdes had walked back into the living room where I was, to give me a piece of cake. She asked if I had had any of the last big blue cake she had made and left for us. I told her I hadn't, bc I hadn't been home in a week or so. She told me I had used that excuse the last time she made us a cake, but it was true, I told her, I was gone a lot.. I didn't really like being home.. The End.
