So i think this took place in a alternate universe or something bc i was a kid again and the woman i loved was not… who i loved but still was the role of it and i tried to follow her around to try and get her to tell her real name. Before i could i ended up in school with my best friend david. I remember everyone being brutal as hell. Someone walked past us and took a right into their classroom and suddenly a full line formed behind them keeping us trapped against the wall. Eventually we tried to worm our way through when someone attacked us. I don’t know what was going on really so we just ran to out class and they were chasing us. When we got to our teacher i was gonna ask if i could go use the bathroom when i saw she had some air heads to sell. 1.33$ per. I picked 2 up and i was gonna pay for it later and then i realized david was asking to go to the bathroom. He walked up yo me and told me to come on so clearly he got permission for me too. Otw yo the bathroom, i held the airheads up and asked “btw you got 3$?” I said he had some quarters and we walked up to some arcade part of the school. He put 4 quarters in and instead of more change, we got 4 quarters back with like a 100 pennies and stuff. Suddenly i noticed an officer behind me and was like “did you hit jahimbo” (clearly just a dream word) i told him i didn’t know what that was until he finally explained “sometimes the system will have a 1/10000 bug that’s impossible to find. Could be anything, simply the 10 thousands use could trigger the machine to malfunction” and next thing we knew he was talking down to us saying that we were illegally using the machine to our advantage and even if it was astronomical odds, the machine rules is to not take more money than you’re supposed to get. Eventually my thought was that we might get kicked out of school and i could take him to court to fight this nonsense… but seriously? All this over 2$? As he kept rambling about how many rules we had broken and how we were gonna be punished, I eventually raised my hand. “Your honor, you can’t do anything to us because we are actually first years”. Everyone froze and looked at me like i was stupid (there was a crowd watching our -criminal activity- btw) “we both just transferred here and its our first day as to which you can find records of somewhere. Just ask the principal, im sure they’ll have our transfer papers and that’ll prove is our first day here and we have never abused this machine in the past and seeing how you were there when the bug took place today, not only did we wait for someone with authority to report the bug to, we never even took our money from the machine. Therefore any negative action you take will not look good on you seeing as we started with 1$ and now we have nothing.” Idk why i sounded so high and mighty, not like my personality but the officer smiled and then suddenly he let us go by making everyone play some game. The crowd had to line up and make david and I symmetrical with the amount of people between us and the gaps as he counted down. It was stupid and i was ready to get back to class while just thinking about how I’ve probably missed half the class by now and will never be trusted to go anywhere with my best friend again. I didn’t even have money to pay for the airheads either… so… when nobody was looking…. I took the money the machine gave us…
