These may have been separate dreams or may have just been one dream that changed halfway through. The first part I remember is walking through a craft store and getting some paintbrushes for my friend. All of the packs of paintbrushes are strangely expensive, as most of them are $55. I move to a different part of the store to find cheaper ones, which are somewhat less expensive but still pretty pricey. Then I’m sitting in a school library, which is remarkably small and has surprisingly few books. I’m doing some work on a computer, but I keep getting frustrated because there’s a small shelf directly in front of the computer table and it’s in my way. Eventually I stand up and toss my chair across the room before moving the small shelf to a new location, away from my seat. I sit back down after returning my chair to its proper spot and work on whatever it is I was doing when the librarian starts telling me about some GT/AP program where you don’t have to take the SAT. Suddenly my mom is there, explaining to her that I’ve already finished the college application process so this program isn’t needed for me. Then the dream ended/changed. This part of my dream starts out on a school trip to the pool. I’m hanging out with a handful of people whom I don’t really know in real life, but are my friends in the dream. We chat while standing in the shallow end for a bit and then swim around for a while. Eventually me and another girl lose the other two members of our group and have to go find them. As we swim around looking for them, the pool is becomes our high school covered in 4-5 ft water. We look in the cafeteria to see that a shower of water is falling from the ceiling over almost the entire room, a lot of students hanging out under the water. We eventually find our group again briefly, and one girl shows me her highlighter kit with a bunch of different kinds of neon yellow highlighter markers. They are apparently for an ancient Chinese highlighting technique. Eventually the other girl and I separate from the group again to go upstairs, where it’s dry. After walking up the stairs, the other girl walking up them in at least twelve inch heels for some reason, we run into my cousin and I’m suddenly walking with her instead. I talk to her about how I didn’t bring any money so I’m upset that I can’t buy any of the special food being served. We chat for a minute and then I woke up.
