Black Blob

My mom had bought an object (I don't remember what it was) but it was actually this black blob that could shape shift. The goal of this blob was to try and kill me, and it kept attacking me when nobody was looking. I tried to tell people about it but no one believed me. The blob shape shifted into a helium balloon with happy birthday on it. It happened to be my friend's birthday so my mom suggested I take it to her. I told her I didn't want to because I knew it would attack me but she wasn't having it. So I took the balloon and it was heavy but also floating it was strange.
