Christmas Gore & Sadness

I was in my old house at Chiltern in Whitby and my sister and I were hanging out in the front room on the green sofas. We were opening presents because it was Christmas morning. My sister was also petting our cat and then all of a sudden she dropped the cat and it’s head split open and there was a big pool of blood around my sister’s feet. I told my sister to pick the cat back up and hold it while I called an ambulance. The cat was in really bad shape, barely moving, and it had a huge open gash right down the middle of it’s head. I told the emergency dispatch person how urgent our situation was and they said that they are short staffed today but that they would get someone out as soon as they could. I continued to talk to the dispatch person and would periodically give updates on our cat’s situation. Then I hear “beep, beep, beep” from someone backing into our driveway. I rush outside to go see, expecting it to be the ambulance, but it’s a big garbage truck and four older men are standing on the side of our driveway. I lost it and told them to get the fuck off our driveway because we are expecting an ambulance any minute. They complied but the four men still hung around at the front entrance to our house. I asked them who they were and what the hell they are doing here. It turns out that my mom called them to come help us because we were having a really rough Christmas. I was kind of angry that my mom had told other people about how bad our Christmas was going. I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I just broke down in front of everyone and started crying uncontrollably.
