yellow chemical

there was a bright, solid, and yellow chemical that was kind of dangerous and radioactive, but also very useful and … edible. i was repairing a flooded garage with the chemical, and at the end, there were instructions to wash your hands with water and the chemical to truly have clean hands. the chemical was in these cube shapes, and you needed two cubes to officially have clean hands according to the instructions. also, there were suddenly 2 different isotopes of the chemical, in different boxes. i think i took one chemical cube from each box, but i dont remember exactly. this was bad because to have clean hands, you can only use one type of chemical isotope, so no mix & match. then, someone took out a jam-filled croissant, but instead of the bread part, it was the chemical. they began eating it. i remember thinking that you probably need an acquired taste to enjoy the chemical.
