Remembering people as they once were

I have had plenty of dreams where I remember certain people as they once were even though I appear my age in the dreams and I know theses people are grown up. For instance there have been dreams where my three cousins (who are grown up) show up in my dreams as how they were before their teen years.. another example is I'm my own age while my friend and her sisters (they are grown up now too) remain as how they were when I left an apartment complex we grew to be great friends at. Even the apartment complex is in my dreams when they are in my dreams so vividly. Not only that my uncle (who is dead) has entered my dreams as if he is still alive. It is quite strange to dream of him but also very rewarding at the same time. He has entered my dreams a few times since his passing. Not just family but there have been some other friends that enter my dreams from last I saw them even though they may have changed since last I saw them..
