Caroline and I were in some weird abandoned house in the middle of nowhere and she was like “you have to watch this movie in forcing you to watch it it’s so weird” Idk, there were other people at the house milling around doing stuff, but as characters in the movie would die or go missing, so would people in real life ?? And then I started being like “caroline I think people are coming for us, like in this movie” and she just laughed and told me I was being paranoid, and I was like “yeah you’re right.” But I kept wondering why she picked a horror movie. Occasionally we went out to meet people or do something and we just let the movie play since there was no pause button, but it was like the movie kept playing in my head—I couldn’t make it stop—and it kept blurring together with real life so that sometimes I didn’t know which was which. We went to like a wedding reception or something, and it was on an ice rink. Idk. It turned into like dodgeball or paintball or something, but once again I started getting this weird feeling that when people were “out” they were disappearing or actually dying. So I fought to win like my life depended on it cause I was starting to think it really did. I did eventually win, or at least got close, and eventually we were back in the random house in the middle of the snowy Midwest middle of nowhere, bundled under blankets with a fire going. At some point Lady Demitrescu showed up as a character (I literally don’t even know what she’s from lmao she’s just a meme to me), and she got locked in the basement as a prisoner. I started hearing noises from the real life basement and I just knew, she was really there, and if she got out she’d kill us. Caroline still kept telling me I was paranoid because all that wasn’t possible, and was unconcerned. When the movie eventually ended, it just kind of ended in the middle of a scene with no resolution or satisfying conclusion. Only the one main character was left, everyone else had disappeared. I started ranting about how that was such a lame ending and this movie was infuriating, and she were like “right! That’s why I had to show it to you it’s so bad.” I went back to ranting and standing in front for the tv, but then I looked back and she were gone. The window above her chair was open and wind was blowing in. But I’d only looked away for like half a second, and I didn’t understand how she could’ve moved that fast. I ran outside to find her, yelling frantically, and found her in another building on the property that was full of a bunch of people partying—people who had been at the ice rink game thing. I found her and was scared-angry questioning why she ran away like that and she just thought it was a funny prank, since I was so caught up in the movie and would think it was real. I was on the verge of tears because I just knew—it WAS real, there was a vampire demon lady in our basement, and she was going to kill us all if she got out. If we weren’t all dead already. I didn’t really know anymore.
