Bumble Buss

It was like I was back in high school running track again. The main difference though was that this time there was a cool trail for distance runs behind the track and the field beside it. A portion of it was slightly hilly and raised with a steep drop off into the field. However, the whole thing was covered by trees, meaning it’d be a lot less hot to run on; perfect for me who overheated way too easily. So, fuck the danger. Anyways, I remember being on the field at one point doing warmups and chatting with everyone. Someone then brought up the topic of dating, and well, let’s just say I had to shut some people down. That said, today’s practice was a distance run for the distance team, and so, me being on it meant I too had to run the trail. I was excited. While then running the trail I got to the hilly part and found two girls taking a break. I wasn’t tiered yet, but I stoped for a second anyway since the girls were friends of mine in the dream. I just knew that the one named Brooke had something juicy she wanted to share. So, I asked her what was up. That’s when she told me that one of the guys I liked seemed interested in her. Hearing this made my heart drop, but regardless, I brushed it off. I then told Brooke something before continuing my run. Not sure what I said, but I get the feeling it wasn’t anything that betrayed my own feelings. In fact, I’m pretty sure I kept everything nice & friendly. After this, there was a sort of time skip. My guess is that this next part takes place the next day? Idk. Either way, I’m back on the field. There’s no practice today though. Instead, there’s a bus parked nearby. It was gonna take us to an after school meet. Fun! Now on my way to the bus, I walked past some of our guys who were on horses for some reason. They asked me where their friend Daniel was. So, I looked around. He was with a couple donkeys on the sand volleyball court for some reason. That said, I told the guys, and then continued on towards the bus. When I got there, I got in line behind everyone else. My turn soon came, and so I made my way in. Now, this bus was really cool. It was basically a double decker. I didn’t take a seat on the top though. I chose to sit on the bottom next to my friend Brooke. She was already sitting in the back. On my way to the back though, I noticed someone. I’d matched with them on bumble, and man, they were so 😩😩😩. Truth be told though, I didn’t recognize them that well at first. However, the guy gave me this weird look which told me everything. It took me a second to figure it out though. So, it wasn’t till a few minutes later, when I was already sitting down, that I decided to message him and check to see if it really was him. I woke up before I got the answer :/
