it's one of the episode from Tom and Jerry show, the black woman appear to be the one in the show, making some a table full of meal, i think it's the Thanksgiving episode. and the focus began to change, the story all focus on when Mama ( i called her Mama ) ask me to peel some sweet potatoes while she cleaning a bowl of shrimp, her fingers are fat and swifty peeling shrimp skin, then she began humming a particular song, a swing jazz music appears on the background. she dance while cooking, musically, all the sweet potatoes I pelled turn gold color, the shrimps dancing while stirred inside a pan, and jumped into a pot of boiling sea urchin soup, the soup are thick and the smell are really good, i was so amazed by the smell till the sweet potatoes i peeled drop of my hand, and that's make Mama very angry, she smacked me in the forehead with her finger and wiped the potato and give it to my hand, and told me to boil all in the bronze pot. she dance and the music start to upbeat it self, Mama put some salt and pepper and various herb to the pot, leek and onion, soy sauce and bit of garlic and paprika powder in itu, then Mama go outside, i follow her up and we go down to the river nearby our kitchen, to pull some nett, then a figure of black fat snake caught on the nett, the head are stuck, when i look closely ,it appear to be an eel, big fat eel almost 2meter long, Mama told me to bring it inside and nail down the head on the chopping board, and let her do the rest, I'm continuing the shrimps soup and mashed potatoes, add some milk and more pepper to it, then Mama seems finished her business with the eel, the black skin are gone, leaving a silverish bright white meat, fillet cut and put some into the shrimps soup, then Mama say " it's a dragon dish we got ". i don't really remember what happened with the potatoes, at some point, the music are stop ,Mama still humming, she bring the meal outside to the yard, it appear a lot of people waiting for Mama, and give her a applause, the potatoes looks like a pot of gold sand, the soup now turn into a dragon dish, silverish meat on the thick red soup, looks like dragon appears from lava. all the people eat it in a small plate, golden mashed potato greased with thick eel and shrimps soup, hot steam came out every time the fork scratch the mashed potato, people are silent in their feast, sky turn twilight, shimmering on the river, now their plates are empty, they won't need more.
