Dog/Snake?

I was called to come to Meralco Malanday branch for a job to do ("again" they said, [like I have done it already in my past dream]) so I came to the office, on the second floor, climb on the ceiling to catch the "snake", and when I caught something, I grab onto its neck and asphyxiating it. Then when I got a good look of the "snake", it's a dog! Then I killed it. And I was exhausted so I took a walk outside thinking what it really is..
