Sex Practice & Tickets

Me & my high school crush were at a place that I can’t remember, taking a class where we were learning how to have (better) sex. Me and him had different partners to practice with. The teacher had us already practicing after our first lesson. Then it seems like a few days later, we go back for another class and the teacher is not pleased with our performance as a class. He got two tickets to a lodge in Detroit. However, there were rules to grabbing these tickets. All I remember about the rules, was that he said at any time, anyone can grab the tickets and ask someone. He did not say that we had to go with our given partners. Then, he finishes talking to us and people went with their partners throughout the venue to start practicing sex. I had an opportunity where he & I were not having sex with our partners. I literally stood a couple feet away from those tickets debating in my head, and walking back and forth, if I should ask him, out of fear that he would reject me. I thought heck with it, you don’t know the answer until you ask. I decided to ask him. I quickly grabbed the tickets, held them up to him and asked him, almost with rushed desperation and somewhat in an “out of breath” tone in my voice, “Do you want to go to Detroit with me?” He said “No, I can’t” and next thing I knew, he whips out two tickets to a professional basketball game from his pocket, and says he’s going to the game. It was unclear if he was going as a pre-planned family bonding activity, or if this was supposed to be spending time wth his guy friends, or if he was going to make it a romantic date with a random girl, or with his girlfriend, or if he had not found someone to go with yet. All I remember after that was that I put the tickets back where I found them, so that someone else could grab them. The End
