Zizi Fran in Hoboken

It was a cloudy Saturday and I had plans to meet up with my cousin Laura in Hoboken. Once I got there, I was easily able to find parking in the parking garage, which was ironic because the parking there in real life is horrendous. I got out of the car, checked my phone, and didn’t hear any word from my cousin as to where she was or how long it’ll take for her to arrive. “I hope I didn’t come here for nothing,” I thought, and as I was walking toward the parking meter I saw Zizi Fran (Laura’s Mom). She parked right next to me. She was dressed in a black crop jacket with leggings and high heels, and once I recognized her, I shouted “Hey Zizi Fran when are you here? How’ve you been?” And she said that she was doing great and she was planning to get a bite to eat. She asked if I wanted to join her and I said yes. So we walk out of the parking garage and she asks me what type of food I’m in the mood of eating. I said that I was up to anything, and even mentioned some of the restaurants that I’ve been to before in Hoboken. She first asked about if I’ve heard of this Italian restaurant that we passed by (supposedly by a famous chef) but I never heard of it, so we continued to walk and came across this dimly lit American restaurant to try. So we walked inside and sat on a high table. We talked a bit, and I said that I was supposed to meet up with Laura today but she hasn’t notified me of when she is coming. So I texted her to see if the plans were still on and like around 20 minutes later she responded with an excuse saying that something got in the way of her plans. It was vague and a poor excuse to be honest. So I just let it go because at least Zizi Fran was here. While we were waiting for our meals, I realized that I haven’t paid the parking meter. I mentioned it to Zizi Fran a few times and she said not to worry about it. But I didn’t want to get a ticket, so I told her that I was gonna pay the meter before I forget. So I walked out of the restaurant towards the parking garage and then I woke up.
