I went to a high school that was super well known for their football and classes centered around it. They even had professional games go on during school, and we could watch during lunch or a free period. People could take classes that directly involved them in the game if they wanted to pursue that job. In my dream I had an older sister instead of a younger one. Idk who tf she is in real life. She was a senior, and wanted to be a referee (in my dream they were called umpires and I think that’s just my subconscious saying I don’t know enough about sports to have this dream). I was a sophomore like I am irl. I had a free period with my friends Kylie, Toby, Bianca, and shay. We were all watching the game from the end of the field where the teams score, and there were a ton of people so I guess they were important teams or something. This period was the one where my sister got to practice being a ref for the game. It switched perspectives from me looking at me and my friends to the sidelines to see my sister. The colors were super vivid and the field was lime green. The referee class was under this tent where all the refs hang out. There was a table with a pitcher of lemonade, and it was a warm morning. My sister was out on the field (she was the best ref in her class) and they wanted her to switch out with someone else. At first she didn’t want to bc she was doing rlly well, but eventually she did. Side note: my mom was also there but she wasn’t my mom irl. As soon as this other girl went onto the field a football hit her in the head and knocked her out. As this happened golden sunlight was streaming in (the stadium was half outside and half inside if that makes sense?) and time seemed to slow down. Then my mom freaked out and pulled us both out of school to drive us home and said my sister wasn’t allowed to be a ref. There was an argument and then my mom dropped us off at the subway bc I guess she had shit to do and couldn’t bring us home. The streets were all mostly short bursts of tunnels bc there were buildings on top to save space, and it was really futuristic looking. We took the subway back to school and it was weirdly like a movie. Don’t stop believing started playing as we were taken back to school. By then the period had like 10 minutes left so me and my friends went into this wooden hallway type thing with gaps in it to let sunlight through, and no walls other than posts to hold it up (the entire school was like this except for the classrooms). There was a wisteria growing on the “ceiling”. Me and my friends were all talking but I forget what it was about. Toby had to take medication for some reason, and he was saying how he was put on new medication. He sounded super loopy, so we kept laughing at him. Then the bell rang and we had to go to class. Toby couldn’t even walk, so me and Kylie helped him get to class. He was saying that he accidentally took too much medication and we were like no shit. We got him to his English class and told the teacher what happened and then I woke up. None of this was from my own perspective.
