I have a lovely trip planned where my partner and I are going to some log cabins for a week. I'm in Mystic Falls, and chaos errupts by Tyler's Manor house. I remember Stefan and Caroline, maybe Enzo, and Alaric. I assume I'm only human and they're looking at me thinking I'm going to be the first to be targeted for leverage. I say it's okay, no one knows I'm going on holidays or where, I'll just lay low there. Brilliant idea, Alaric is coming with me because apparently he was my partner plus I think he's also human so I'm okay with this. We pack our things and head out in my rather identifiable light blue Mini. I park next to our log cabin after a 5 minute drive and turn around to see the Manor in the background. The resort is here???!! How is that a vacation?? I pull my Mini in as far as possible as it sticks out next to the other monochrome cars. I talk with Alaric and feel like we can't even leave the cabin. We then agree that we need to get further out. Now I'm driving across this dried up river to a small village by the coast of England. I don't have Alaric with me but this is as far out as I can think. The village is small and not very touristy. It's dark and I head to the local pub and see loads of people I know? My dad is here, with a friend of mine, and a couple family members. My dad is steaming drunk and it's last call. There's fours of us and the barkeep. She starts putting food into a takeaway box. She says my dad asked her to put any scraps for him in a box to take home. She gives it to me and I see lamb steaks, hash browns, and a burger in there. I thank her and we head out. We have to go through a cave-like alcove by the coast to get to our cars. Some is complete tunnel, lots of it has large holes that peek out to the sky and across the sea. Most of it is natural, but you can see man-made areas where it's been hollowed out into the rock, some medieval looking steps. I try keeping my eye on the three other people with me but my dad starts trailing behind and wanders into one of the tunnels. I go back for him and he seems so fascinated. I encourage him back to the path and say we can do a tour in the daytime. We head to the dried up river which is now full due to the tide. There's a higher rickety bridge passing over but we worry we can't get our cars over the bridge on our way back.
