Long lashes as a kid

I showed a picture of me as a kid where my lashes were so long and thick they fully looked fake on the bottom and top they were gorgeous. I explained to my friend that’s why everyone used to compliment my lashes back then and don’t anymore, they apparently used to look way nicer
