I noticed some weird growths on inside of thighs, where I don’t usually look. As I examined them, I found myself standing with my wife in a place that sort of resembled a museum. On display was a giant, 10 foot model of my belly – except, it wasn’t a model – it was my actual belly in real time, but somehow scaled larger in front of me like an out-of-body experience. We looked in through a large viewing hole to see the inside of me. It was a deep, hollow space, with some openings here and there for different canals. At the bottom of the enclosure, there were large chunks of watermelons (rind and all) laying around, as if tossed in haphazardly. My wife gasped, “Nate! How the hell did these even get here!?” “I don’t know!” I said, embarrassed. We began pulling out as many as we could and chucking them. I bumped into a doctor who worked at the museum. “There’s technology that can help you,” he explains. He took me to a window looking into a dark office. Inside, there were two robots battling. I looked to my left to see the doctor and his colleague using VR headsets to control them. They giggled, having a great time. “What do I do?” I asked, “I can’t afford these things.” The doctor fell silent, his colleague became serious and left. The doctor looked up at a calendar on a digital display. “It’s ok, I see you’re doing great at keeping your pace! Keep that going.” The calendar showed x’s on dates like a repeating schedule. I decided to go do whatever it was he wanted me to. I went to a small shopping mall kiosk that seemed to be all about algae and water treatment. They were closed. I wandered the area, sort of aimless. — I was visiting my friend, Alex’s parents’ house (which I’ve never seen in real life). I see that the A/C vents are totally open, exposing the ducts, and his cats are jumping in them to move around the house and go outside as they please. Sitting in the living room, I found myself petting a cat that apparently has a reputation for being moody. I was pleased to find it warming up to me. It eventually bit and scratched me, and I pushed it away. — I was a silent, omnipresent observer. A girl was in an office, there was an explosion and she was propelled out onto an open road. The area was rural. As she lay motionless on the pavement in front of me, no traffic or people stirred. As the dust settled I could see that she was rapidly healing as if by some magical force. I heard footsteps through the rubble. Someone was approaching. Who? Who is this girl? What’s going on? I woke up.
