i was in third person this whole time. there was this girl who was dating this guy and he had a crazy mom. his mom couldn’t talk for years and now that she does all his mom does is pester him and try to control his life and asks for statues of her (he’s an artist). so he got invited to this event and went because he thought it would be fun. it wasn’t. he was supposed to have a scene in a movie that was based in the future where a viking girl (cartoonish) could appear and be owned by anyone if you paid her enough. (technology wasn’t advanced enough to not have to bribe). the guy said no this is wrong humans shouldn’t be sold so he didn’t do the scene in the movie. Then he sat in a big room with some friends and his gf and they were talking about his mom. his girlfriend said oh the reason why she acts that way is because of mental health issues. the guy was like wait what? and started crying. he never realized she had mental health issues. his gf was like omg i’m so sorry and he was like no i just never realized. and then he went back home where his mom laid in the sand next to a bunch of futurist pieces. she was like finally you made a statue of me! and he jumped from the second story to the futurisfic piece and went inside of it even though it appeared to be made of metal or something. his mom is like... what are you doing. and he said you need to be stopped. i know you are sick and you’ve been hiding it from me. meanwhile reality was shifting and becoming digital and pixelated and numbers, it was quite artistic. she was like i can’t see you show me where u are. and he was like of course. and then he killed her in the alternate digital reality. he never knew why his life made almost 0 sense until this moment. after he killed her reality shifted to an all black screen saying in green pixelated colors. “Game Over” She has killed “605,000.” and that’s when he felt relief. and i woke up. this dream straight up felt like a movie but the ending was really cool. his whole life was a lie and he never knew why until he realized he was essentially stuck in a video game where his mom was the bad guy.
