Horses in the water

I dreamed I was with my family, riding horses down a dirt road. There were a few houses on each side, and thick foliage overhead. We came to a house on a swamp, you could see the large body of water surrounding the property from the road. I dismounted and walked onto the wooden porch, which also acted like a dock. Leaning over the rail I looked into the water and saw horses. Hundreds of dead horses of all colors and sizes laying and rotting in the mostly shallow water. Disgusted I ran off and got back on my own horse and got the fuck out of there.
