Sleep Paralysis

I've had a problem with sleep paralysis for years now, but it's never been anything familiar. Last night I woke up, and it was the same shadowy entity that has been in my dreams for the past week and a half or so, but it didn't start in the corner of the room like things usually do for me. It was on top of my chest the minute I noticed it, and it stared straight into my eyes for what felt like hours. It doesn't have eyes of it's own, just empty, oozing sockets like it had eyes at one point that were ripped out. I couldn't blink, and my dog who's always been able to wake me up properly couldn't do it this time and I have numerous scratches on my arm and chest from when he tried to shake me awake. I'm seeing this thing everywhere today and my body still feels like the weight of a grown man is hanging on my back.
