video/japanese candy store?

me and my friends wanted to see a movie so we went to this video store that apparently sold DVDs. it was a brick building on this random street corner in a sketchy place. there were like gangs of sketchy ppl sitting on cars in the parking lot. inside, there was only one small shelf of DVDs even though it was called a video store. most of it was refrigerators full of japanese candy/ice cream. my friends and i ended up just getting that instead of a movie i think, and i remember being rlly indecisive and my friends were waiting so long for me. i got this hello kitty ice cream thing but i also wanted hello kitty pocky. i ate it before i even brought it to the cash register lmao.
