Land & house for me

There was some land for sale for $44,000 it was a small forest that looked to be on smoking, And there was another land for $24,000 with 1 Acer. my dad was talking to some one saying "Yeah we can make a payment like that, By the end of this year We can afford setting like that. I'm not too sure where the land was located, maybe in Fairbanks or just outside of town.
