Apocalyptic Dream

I had a dream that the Earth turned to dust because night suddenly turned to day in a flash throughout the entire world at once. There were people on a space station that tried to stop it but couldn’t anticipate fully how it would happen. I watched this happen multiple times , as if it were on repeat, until finally the space station moved on and decided to look to other planets for signs of life and sustenance. No one was hopeful and it seemed like those that survived would simply live out their days until they starved to death or testing other planets livability killed them.
