Gollum and the Ring

With Gollum. We turn up at a house, he shows us a secret room that can be accessed by climbing up through the wall. Up in the room it’s expansive, more like outside. There’s a huge flat brazier on the ground, filled with ash and old black coals. I learn somehow that the ring is hidden in here. Now I’m not sure whether to risk a trip up there to get it and risk Gollum finding out, or not do it and risk him taking it. I go and quickly look. To my surprise right on the surface there’s a big ring. It’s silver and chunky, with faceted edges on the outside and black carved crevices, very Goth and a little cheap looking. I wonder if this could be it. I quickly poke around in the ashes for other rings, but not finding anything, I pocket the one I have.
