Conversation with Terrence McKenna

I go upstairs and explain to Terrence McKenna that I am confused which conviction to hold, those associated with my paternal Christian upbringing/influence or those of my maternal New Age Occult Buddhist like ideals. He said I should draw upon my many NDEs (near death experiences) and I will find Neither belief systems are truly in conflict with the other. I was like oh, okay then - no problem. I was relieved it was all that simple.
