The Game

This is a reoccurring dream that I have been having once every year or so. It is a little strange so brace yourselves because it takes a lot to understand what’s going on, heck I don’t even understand what’s going on. The First Time- So the dream started off normally I mean I went to school went home did homework ate dinner and went to bed did the same thing in the morning but when I got home I found this, this basket of socks in the middle of my bedroom floor and I had thought it maybe was just a chore my mother had wanted me to complete. However there was a letter on top of it that said that I had the option to join some sort of game that involved many different activities. There wasn’t a signature from what I remember. I thought it was strange so I put the letter down and began to flip the laundry. However the next day I found myself in a room that replaced my bedroom. Room had a single desk in it with a stack of paper note cards on top. And on top of that stack of cards there was also another letter. I read it and it said simply ‘welcome to the game’. I was completely in utterly confused and had no clue what to do so I looked at the directions on the new card that was on top of the stack, and read that I had to fill out for notecards or more with information about some topic and I don’t remember at the moment. There was a warning at the bottom that explained that if I didn’t complete it in the allotted time from when I pick up the pencil sitting next to the stack of notecards, that there would be some sort of punishment. Obviously not risking it being the subconsciously insane person I am, I started and I had no idea how much time I had. I finished filling out the notecards and after that nothing happened so I thought that maybe it was done. So I left the room and came back a couple hours later to find out it was my room again. The next day it was even stranger instead of waking up in my own bedroom I woke up in a room with a wooden floors and walls and it was, well it looked like a nice house, so I looked for the letter expecting to find one somewhere. By this time I had, well I had found out that it was the game that the first letter had talked about. There were a little red tags shaped like people all around the railings and ceilings of the “house“. I found the letter and saw that it had simply explain to me that this was another part of the game and I had to find some sort of object and make it out of the house in a short amount of time otherwise the red beings would cut me? I hadn’t been “punished“ yet so I looked around the room and traveled into different parts of the room in order to find this object eventually I did find it, but I am also a very clumsy person, keep that in mind. Eventually I did make it out of the house and nothing happened after that for the next couple days. Or the next couple weeks. One day when I was out and about I had been walking up a cement stairwell. I don’t remember where I was going but I ran into a person and almost fell down the stairs. The stranger caught me and there was a moment. I never knew the stranger’s face because I can never remember it. Anyway, we apparently were both parts of this game and were both confused. We connected and we agreed that we would get the tasks done together and we did. After that, I woke up and since it was last year. I don’t remember it. The Second Time- The same exact thing, except there were small things that were off. Like, instead of being caught while falling, I fell completely down the stairs. But I still met the stranger. This time, the red things were alive pre-task and when I questioned how they would cut me, one came down (it kind of looked like a fairy) and cut the pen I had in half. Post Dream- I was so paranoid I couldn’t get up and now (at 8:13pm) I am still paranoid. If anyone knows what this means... letting me know would be great.
