Time Spent Together/Anonymous Moments

Note: I don’t remember the exact order of this dream’s sequencing, but I’ll try to. I remember the dream started off with me and my friend Derek K. We were flying around our old high school in some sort of UFO, and we were talking about Derek’s college graduation. Derek seemed positively surprised that it was going to be his time to graduate. Now I was on a school bus that was packed. It was driving by my old high school during a “gloomy” day. One conversation on the bus saw a group of people talking amongst themselves and poking fun at the bus driver. I can’t recall exactly what was the subject of the conversation, though. I had some conversations on the bus, too, none of which I can remember. I do remember, though, that Ben P. and Ally R. were on this bus. Then, I encountered Andrew S. We were in the lunch room of our old middle school, but people from our high school and my university were there, too. Andrew and I sat together for a high school cheerleader performance. Before the performance, I was wondering why I was even there, as I think it was an optional event. I remember thinking that since Josh W. wasn’t there, maybe I didn’t have to be there. Nonetheless, I didn’t leave. Also before the performance, my former college Economics professor was handing out chocolate candy to everyone, such as mini Twix, mini Snickers bars, and the like. He accidentally gave me two, but took one back after he realized that. During the performance, the cheerleaders sang a song, which I cannot remember. A former cheerleader in the audience was singing along to this song. There may also have been football players in the audience (though not dressed for football). Then, I was navigating a bathroom area. It was dark and there was no one else in it. The only light in the room came from the security camera. In the kids’ restroom, the paper towel dispenser was funky (or so it seemed in the dream). I may have been climbing on toilets, but I cannot remember. Notes to Self: The cheerleader scene and the bathroom scene may have been intertwined, which is why it seemed so confusing to remember this dream’s sequencing. Also, despite the fact that people were aware of COVID-19 in the dream, there were still big congregations of people (bus scene, cheerleader scene). Apparently, big congregations weren’t a big deal in the dream, and people didn’t seem to fear the virus at all.
