Into the Abyss

I just woke up like 5 minutes ago and I can't remember much but I have this scared feeling left from my dream. Children would be walking the streets and in a matter of seconds would disappear with no trace left behind. The thing is though, they would always vanish next to relatively small hole on the edge of the sidewalk which led me to believe that this is were they would get pulled from. The great unknown on who or what and when and why innocent young children would be victims scared me to death in my dream. The hole in the edge of the side walk was like that of a sewer entrance, small and too dark to see ANYTHING. As to where the children would be taken is a great mystery in my dream and has left me wondering what could've been, but this very question is what really scared me and is giving me chills as I type this.
