Lymph nodes?

Somebody was looking over me, as if to do some diagnostics of health problems. They would get to certain areas & pull what looked like a cluster of nerve endings or lymph nodes out of my skin & there was some kind of modules of what looked like brown gunk or tar at the end of them. They kind of shook & pulled the bad stuff out & then put them back in.. I specifically remember it being done behind my ear area..
