Surgery

I was at my grandfather’s hunting cabin without electricity or running water. Someone ( a teen girl) had a serious problem with her thigh and it was decided I would do the surgery to remove part of her thigh. I had just completed a similar surgery so knew how to do it. We didn’t have any anesthesia so I just cut into her leg and skimmed an are piece off with the knife. I was proud of how well I did and then wrapped it up in a a bandage to heal.
