Moon Doomsday

I was at some sort of place with lots of people in attendance, and then the Earth gave a sort of jump. Everyone started panicking, and someone had the idea to look at the moon through a telescope. It had broken in half somehow, and it was messing up the gravity here on Earth. There was some sort of hyperdimensional being there, too, who came to either save everyone or destroy the planted because the moon was gone now. I can't remember which one, and that's troubling. We somehow got a video of the moment when the moon split, and it happened like this: a flat asteroid stabbed into the moon, and then another one hit the first asteroid in just the right way to split the moon apart, like a woodcutting wedge. I had some other dreams, but I can't remember them now.
