Mathematics religion?

Idk if in the dream, this was something being acted out as a movie/tv show, or if it was supposed to be real. There were these 2 organizations that needed funding: 1 was a religion that revolves around Jesus and mathematics, and the other was something that seemed more essential to me and was medical related. The “leader”, I suppose, of the math religion looked somewhat like my high school algebra teacher (DC). She had a cross around her neck that I couldn’t stop staring at. And the leader of the other organization was a blonde haired woman who looked young. I remember a scene where the two people were trying to defend their organization and give reasons why they needed the funding available. And I was hoping the math religion did not get the funding because I thought that concept was stupid.
