The Star People

Me and a bunch of people I knew landed on an alien planet. The planet was Earth-like as it had green trees and a blue sky. There also human-like structures but no sign of life. We settled in for a little while but we always felt like we were being watched. I start to become freaked out when things in my room fall over for no reason. I feel like there is an invisible presence in my room. I breathe heavily, not knowing where this person was. Voices speak to us in English. We come to learn that there is an alien race that has no physical form. They are invisible. They demonstrate to us that they can take our form. When one takes the form of one of us humans, they take the life force from them. The alien now looks like a human, but with bright glowing blue eyes. I affectionately named them the Star People. Fast forwarding to when they all become power hungry and start taking the forms of every human in sight, the human bodies slumping to the ground. I run from room to room and I reach the outside. However, outside there is what looks like a sea of glowing blue eyes. This is starting to feel almost like a zombie apocalypse and there are too many. I try to convince the Star people that we can coexist. The aliens agree. They stop attacking. The humans all wake up, but somehow the Star people still have the forms of the humans. This brings them much joy, and as much as this worries us slightly, most of us are okay with it. Us humans discover that one of our ships is broken, so we’re gonna have to stay for awhile to repair it. Months pass and we slowly coexist, but with tension between us. I see a large news billboard that announces the Star people are modifying their new bodies. They want to expand the size of their eyes by 3 inches. That is when I wake up.
