Palm Reading

I was once again some kind of investigator (recurring theme) and I went to a psychic fare to ask someone questions about someone they knew, if they witnessed an attack or crime being committed etc. While I waited for the person in question to come, there was a fortune teller sitting across from me who had just ended a palm reading session with a client and was looking to see if I'm interested. I didn't say anything about why I was really there (murder investigation) but I declined a reading. So she started cold-reading me instead, saying things about me by just looking at me, which were accurate and luring my interest ("you're searching for someone, you're alone" etc.). I talked about how I already had a palm reading a few years ago, and how it kind of ruined my life (true story) because I believed in it. She said things could change. Despite my best interests, I gave in, and let her see my palms. She managed to say one thing before my witness for questioning came in - that I was going to meet my soulmate very soon. Like 7 days or 7 week etc. I just clearly remember number 7.
