Dream Company's Celebration

I was at this party, a celebration of a steel company my father works for. I don't really remind seeing him, only strangers and they wouldn't talk to me, they would chat with themselves and laugh, and tell jokes about their boss and his speeches. The place was basically made of glass and had many tables with mostly fruits and chocolate. It was crowded, lots of children and their parents and I just couldn't fit there, the chocolate was good though. Looking outside, the palm trees were swaying and the sky was dark, it was a tropical storm. Their boss came in telling us to go to the main saloon, he also said something about the music being inappropriate for kids. In the main saloon I sat down near this guy, I thought he was an acquaintance, he was giving his girlfriend chocolate using a spoon, how romantic. He asked if I wanted something and I answered "the end of the world". A girl sitting pretty far from us was staring at my soul.
